Inniswood Garden Society Membership
The Inniswood Garden Society (IGS), a 501(c)(3) organization, was created in 1984 to assist Metro Parks in the growth and development of Inniswood Metro Gardens in a manner that is consistent with the goals and philosophies of the park system. Additionally, IGS members assist with the promotion of Inniswood by sponsoring horticultural programs for its members and the public. The Society has been instrumental in the creation of the Sisters’ Garden and Greenhouse Multipurpose Center as well as the restoration of the Woodland Rock Garden, thanks to gifts from private citizens, businesses and philanthropic organizations.
IGS members receive a quarterly newsletter, a vote at the annual meeting and information on the activities and special events at Inniswood. Additional benefits include discounts at local garden stores, nurseries and businesses (see below for list), as well as discounted fees for special programs at Inniswood. Membership in IGS helps ensure the success of Inniswood and brings a deep sense of involvement in knowing that your membership helps support this excellent horticultural facility.
