Volunteer at Inniswood Metro Gardens
The Inniswood Volunteers Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was created to support and promote the development of Inniswood Metro Gardens. Nearly 300 members strong, our fun, energetic and dedicated volunteers provide hundreds of hours of service each month and are crucial to the success of Inniswood Metro Gardens.
Every March, new volunteers complete a one day training program and a background check. There are no minimum hours required to remain a volunteer, but if one volunteers 40 or more hours in the year, they receive a free Inniswood Garden Society membership for the following year. Volunteers assist with many aspects of Inniswood’s operations, including garden maintenance, tours, educational programs and special events. Various horticultural and educational opportunities are available throughout the year for volunteers.
