Volunteer at Inniswood Metro Gardens
The Inniswood Volunteers Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was created to support and promote the development of Inniswood Metro Gardens. Over 300 members strong, our fun, energetic and dedicated volunteers provide hundreds of hours of service each month and are crucial to the success of Inniswood Metro Gardens.
Every March, new volunteers complete a 4-session training program. Volunteers are asked to donate 40 hours per year to maintain their member status. In doing so, volunteers automatically become members in the Inniswood Garden Society and enjoy those benefits as well. Volunteers assist with many aspects of Inniswood’s operations, including garden maintenance, tours, educational programs and special events. Various horticultural and educational opportunities are available throughout the year for volunteers.
